Lorraine is a photographer who takes images of the world in her own personal way. She always says that thanks to photography she now actually ‘sees’ the world completely differently. She is far more aware of the minutiae, of the light and its effects and what a glorious and beautiful country Britain is.
In October 2012 she was awarded her Associate Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society with a 15 piece submission called ‘Decay’. This allowed Lorraine to indulge herself with images of rust and peeling paint, to explore the colours, the textures, the patterns and the abstraction that we so often ignore.
