Newbury Weekly News Arts Review
In Mavina Baker’s coloured woodcut ‘Winter’s Edge’, bare-limbed trees and an escarpment tensely co-exist in the cold hardness of winter. Her two collographs, ‘Moon River’ and ‘Moon Gate’, are delicate compositions relying for their gentle impact on the isolation and abstraction of shapes and a restricted blue/green palette.
