ACE Space is a registered charity run by an informal committee headed by a small group of trustees. Everyone from our Bar Staff to our Chairperson is a volunteer, as such, we’re always on the lookout for skilled and/or helpful people to dedicate whatever time they can spare. This is the place for people who aren’t necessarily artistically creative to have the spotlight. Carpenters, sound techs, stewards – we’d love to hear from anyone who’d like to be involved.

Currently we are especially seeking bloggers! Our shiny new website is in need of shiny new content, so if you have something to say about the arts, or other exciting things happening in West Berks- get in touch. Volunteering Opportunities

ACE Space exists and progresses because of the contribution made by the volunteers who manage it. We mostly have jobs and families and outside commitments too but our hope is to have as many people connected with the place to spread the load and not over-burden anyone. If you have any amount of time, skills, experience and good energy to offer, we’d love to hear from you. We are a friendly bunch!

Secretary: To support and galvanise the work of the Trustees, take the minutes at our occasional meetings, distribute the agendas and check the progress of decisions taken.

Additional Trustees: Trustees are responsible for the security and direction of ACE Space. We are a registered charity and abide by Charity Commission regulations. `

Online Support: Our new website needs tweaking and content adding.

Event Support: We are always looking for people to be on our volunteer list for events and gigs. The more there are, the more we can share the duties, especially the bar which is a vital part of our operation. If you work on the bar, there is always time to catch the performances and you can have a ticket for a friend for any event you work on, subject to availability.

Maintenance: Our maintenance week this year is July 31 – August 6 2017. There are usually many different jobs to do, small and large, so if you can some time in this period, please get in touch. Practical skills welcome but not essential.
